Google Business Profile verification can happen in several different ways. The verification method available to you may depend on your business, location, and the options provided by Google.
Please follow the verification methods below in order, from Step 1 to Step 4.
⚠️ Important: My Local Ads Support should only be used as the last resort after the available Google verification options have been attempted.
1. Google Business Profile Video Verification
Google may ask you to verify your business by recording a video showing your business location, operations, and proof that you manage the business.
2. Google Business Profile Google Meet Verification
Google may offer a live video verification call where you will be asked to show your business location, signage, equipment, workspace, or other proof that you operate the business.
3. Google Business Profile Contact Support Verification
If video or live verification is unavailable, unsuccessful, or you are unable to complete the verification process, contact Google Business Profile Support directly.
Google Support may request additional information or documents before verifying the profile.
4. My Local Ads GBP Verification Support — Last Resort
If you have already attempted the available Google verification options and are still unable to verify your Google Business Profile, you may request assistance from the My Local Ads team.
