How to Submit Photos, Videos, and Creative Assets for Your Campaigns

The preferred way to send us photos, videos, testimonials, and other creative assets for your ad campaigns.

Written by Support Team

The creative assets you provide — photos of your work, videos of your team, testimonials, brand assets — help us build higher-performing ads. Here's how to send them to us and what we need.

Where to upload assets

Each client has a dedicated Google Drive folder we set up during onboarding. This is the preferred submission channel — organized, versioned, and easy for both sides.

If you don't have your GDrive folder link yet, email [email protected] and we'll share it with you.

What we need most

Brand assets (required)

  • High-resolution logo (PNG with transparent background if available)

  • Brand colors (HEX codes)

  • Preferred fonts

  • Licensing info required in ad footers (state license numbers)

Photos (highest impact)

  • Completed project photos, especially close-ups of finish work

  • Before/after pairs

  • Photos of your crew on the job

  • Photos of your trucks, office, and equipment

  • Photos of the business owner (used for personal testimonial ads)

Videos

  • Short (15–60 second) clips of jobs in progress

  • Time-lapses of installations

  • Customer testimonials (phone video is fine)

  • UGC-style talking head videos from the owner

Multi-location clients

If you operate across multiple markets, upload location-specific assets to the corresponding subfolder in your GDrive. Market-specific creative typically performs better than generic creative.

Requesting a specific creative swap

If you want us to replace a specific photo or video in a running ad, email [email protected] with:

  1. The link to your ad in Meta/Google (or a screenshot)

  2. The replacement asset (uploaded to GDrive)

  3. A quick note on what to swap

A note on creative ownership: Assets you provide to us remain your property. Ad creative we produce for you (ad copy, video edits, landing page designs) remains My Local Ads intellectual property and is licensed to you for the duration of your service — see our Terms of Service for details.
