How to Update Your Payment Method (MLA Subscription, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, CRM)

Step-by-step guide to updating your card across all four billing systems, plus the admin-invite trap.

Written by Support Team

Updating your card requires four separate updates — one in each system that bills you. This article walks through each one.

Common gotcha: If you're not the billing admin on your Google Ads or Facebook Ads accounts, the "Update payment method" option won't be visible to you. See the Admin Access section at the bottom of this article.

1. Google Ads

  1. Log in at ads.google.com

  2. Navigate to Tools & Settings → Billing → Payment methods

  3. Add the new card and set it as primary

  4. Remove the old card (optional)

2. Facebook Ads (Meta)

  1. Go to Business Settings → Billing & Payments

  2. Add the new card and set it as primary

  3. Remove the old card (optional)

3. My Local Ads Agency Subscription

  1. Log in to your CRM at app.mylocalads.co

  2. In the left-side menu, click "Edit Subscription"

  3. You'll be redirected to Stripe (our secure payment partner)

  4. Update your card

4. CRM Usage Charges (SaaS Wallet)

CRM usage fees (SMS, calls, emails, tracking numbers) are billed against your SaaS Wallet. To update the card on your wallet:

  1. In the CRM, go to Settings → Company Billing → Payments

  2. Add a new card

  3. Set it as primary

Admin Access: what to do if you can't see the payment settings

If your Google Ads or Facebook Ads billing menu is greyed out or hidden, it likely means you're not currently a billing admin on that account. Here's how to fix it:

  1. Email [email protected] asking us to resend the billing admin invite

  2. Check your email (including spam) for the invite from Google or Meta

  3. Accept the invite

  4. Return to the payment settings — the update option should now be visible

Tip: Update your card in all four systems around the same time. If any one is left on the old card, that channel can pause independently, which usually results in campaign disruptions.
